Oct 24 Election Day!

 

 

In addition to the regular voting that takes place on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at the following Voting Places, the following options are available to Eligible Voters:

 

Advance voting opportunities

Advance voting is available for all voters from City of Brandon and Brandon School Division Wards:

Wednesday, October 10, 2018, from 8:00am - 8:00pm, Main Foyer - City Hall, 410 - 9th St

Thursday, October 18, 2018, from 10:00am - 8:00pm, Main Foyer - City Hall, 410 - 9th St

Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 10:00am - 6:00pm, Main Foyer - City Hall, 410 - 9th St

 

All ward voting places

The all ward voting places are new for the 2018 election.  These 2 voting places will be available to all eligible voters in any ward.

 

  • BRANDON UNIVERSITY

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018, from 8:00am-4:00pm, Knowles Douglas Building Mingling Area

This voting location is designated to serve the students from Brandon University who consider Brandon as their ordinary place of residence and who meet the eligibility requirements, as well as all eligible voters in any ward.

 

  • THE DOME BUILDING

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018, from 8:00am-8:00pm

This voting location will be available to all eligible voters in any ward and will be equipped with the Audio Tactile Interface system for those voters that may require.

 

Special Moving STATIONS

  • HOSPITAL MOVING STATION

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018, from 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

This voting location is designated to serve patients of Brandon General and Assiniboine Hospital who are residents of the City of Brandon. This location will also serve hospital staff.

SPECIAL MOVING STATIONS

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018

Special Moving Stations are being established to serve Eligible Voters within Brandon's personal care homes and certain senior's residences.

 

Sealed Envelope Voting

A voter is eligible to vote by sealed envelope if they have reason to believe that they will be unable to vote at their regular Voting Place on Election Day or during Advance Voting opportunities. A voter must apply to vote by Sealed Envelope. Applications may be made:

 

In writing - beginning July 26th, 2018

In person - beginning September 26th, 2018
